Mixed injury news for the Stars ahead of tomorrow's Round 3 ANZ Premiership match with the Pulse in Wellington.

Midcourter Greer Sinclair continues to work through her return-to-play plan from a knee injury, with her progress being monitored week to week. Training partner Abbie Leger will remain part of the squad until Sinclair returns to the court.

Defender Lili Tokaduadua will miss the remainder of the ANZ Premiership season after scans confirmed she suffered an ACL rupture during the Round 2 match against the Steel.

Tokaduadua will undergo surgery before working towards a return to the netball court in 2027.

Stars coach Temepara Bailey said she was gutted for Tokaduadua.

"We were excited for what this year held for Lili before this heartbreaking injury. Lili is such an important member of our whānau, and we'll be giving her as much support as she needs to help her get back on court," Bailey said.

Leana de Bruin will join the squad for tomorrow's match against the Pulse, bringing experience and leadership while the permanent replacement for Tokaduadua is being finalised.

In positive news, Samon Nathan has fully recovered from a knee injury ahead of the Pulse game.
